As our Practice Manager you will be the person in charge to run our Manila team to engage, drive, support and coach the members of our practice in Manila. Your role will be expected to be hands-on and closely involved with the activities of the team hence a multiple-skilled, responsible and self- motivated professional is fundamental to the success of this role. As our Practice Manager in Manila, your role will be the accountable person to manage the performance of the local Manila team to support our Australian business and to grow the team as required to support the growth of our business.
In this role your responsibilities will involve:
(i) coaching and supervising the Manila team with their day to day activities, whilst contributing also yourself to increase and support the capacity of the team when required.
(ii) planning and monitoring the progress of activities across the team.
(iii) project managing all projects, activities and campaigns required to be executed or supported by the Manila Practice.
(iv) assessing and recommending ways to optimise costs and efficiency of our business operations by
either improving the efficiency of our Manila practice or migrating activities currently performed in
Australia to be executed or supported by the Manila practice to achieve efficiencies.
Skills and Experience
A successful Practice Manager MUST have excellent English speaking, listening and writing skills. She/he will have an entrepreneurial and agile mentality whilst also executing activities in a well- organised manner. She/he will be self-motivated, and a role model to the rest of the team with ability to learn on its own and work through challenges independently. As a Practice Manager, you will have previous management experience leading teams of 5 people or larger. You will also have consulting and/or software development background from previous working experience and understand the end to end software development lifecycle.
Strong technical background and software development understanding is fundamental on this role across the following areas as well as hands-on experience in at least 1 area:
Enterprise Application development in at least 1 industry.
Sound understanding of Web Technologies and Web Architectures
Good understanding of Business intelligence and Reporting concepts
Sound knowledge of data modelling techniques
Understanding of key security concepts around authentication, authorisation and encryption
Project Management methodology such as Prince, PMI, or other (at least one).
Agile Software Development Methodologies like Scrum.
DevOps tools and methods such as code version control, test automation, continuous- deployment
GIT is important for code-version control
Full-time availability is required for this role.
Salary range between $75,000 PHI and $105,000 PHI per month depending on skills and experience.

Your role will be hired to support the Australian across both our main Australian brand as well as to support the launch of the new brands Client365 and PowerBOX Apps.
